Salary
We offer an attractive salary for this role, estimated to be around $120,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location. As a key member of our team, you will have opportunities to grow professionally and personally within our organization.
Job Description
The ideal candidate for this role will have extensive experience as a General Manager or in a similar leadership position within the hospitality industry. You will lead and manage the overall operations of our resort in Manly Beach, Sydney, including front office, housekeeping, conferences and events, food and beverage, maintenance, and other relevant departments. Your responsibilities will include achieving exceptional marketing results by motivating and empowering the team, revenue management with the central revenue team, and driving exceptional financial results through exemplary cost control and revenue management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise effectively with guests, staff, and senior management. A sound knowledge of hotel operations, including revenue management, front office, housekeeping, conferences and events, food and beverage, and maintenance, is essential. You will also need to be familiar with property management systems and other relevant software. Additionally, you will require the ability to make strategic decisions and problem-solve effectively, even in high-pressure situations.
