The estimated annual salary for this role is $95,000 - $120,000 AUD.

Job Description

Company Overview

Gilmour Space Technologies is a leading rocket company based in Australia, dedicated to achieving human access to space. Our team works together to develop and optimize processes and related infrastructure according to our requirements.

Your Role:

  • Develop and optimize production processes for materials required for launch activities, such as Hydrogen Peroxide, Hydrocarbons, Polymers, and Ablative Materials.
  • Manage and optimize cleaning processes of hardware for use with liquid propellant service.
  • Support external suppliers to improve quality and supply assurances.
  • Work with design and manufacturing engineers to develop and optimize production processes.
  • Ongoing technical support of plant and process.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's (B.S.) degree in Chemistry, Process or Chemical Engineering.
  • Experience with catalysts and electrochemical production.
  • Working experience in a processing facility, ideally handling dangerous goods.
  • Working experience with relevant Australian Standards (AS4326, AS1894).
  • Ability to obtain NV1 Security Clearance.
