About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer II to join our Launch Operations department at Gilmour Space Technologies.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing processes and related infrastructure according to our company's requirements. This will involve documenting and communicating across teams to ensure duties are performed efficiently and timely, while adhering to our policies and procedures.

What You'll Achieve

You will contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our plant and equipment. Your expertise will be essential in establishing plant and process to produce materials required for launch activities, managing and optimizing cleaning processes of hardware for use with liquid propellant service, and supporting external suppliers to improve quality and supply assurances.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Process or Chemical Engineering, and relevant experience in a processing facility, ideally handling dangerous goods. You should also have working experience with relevant Australian Standards (AS4326, AS1894) and the ability to obtain NV1 Security Clearance. Strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work in a high-paced, challenging environment, are also essential.
