About the Role

">
  • ">
  • Conduct telehealth rounds for residential aged care facilities.">
  • Provide acute medical support, clinical oversight, and continuity of care for residents.">
  • Update medication charts, issue prescriptions, and order investigations as needed.">
  • Manage and follow up on acute issues raised by facility staff.">
  • Communicate with family members and provide referrals to specialists where required.">
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation within 30 minutes of completing rounds.">

Work Schedule

">Weekday evenings: 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm.">Weekends: 9:30 am – 12:30 pm | 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm | 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm.">Average 4 consultations per hour, depending on case complexity.">Consultations may be initiated by either residents or facility staff.">Full administrative support provided.">

  • Experience in residential aged care or primary care settings highly regarded.">
  • Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills.">
  • Confidence using telehealth platforms and electronic medical records.">
