We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Services Specialist to join our healthcare team.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

This role involves welcoming and directing patients, answering phone calls, checking patients in and out, verifying patient demographics, collecting insurance information, and scheduling appointments.

Additional responsibilities include preparing charts, printing encounter tickets, confirming appointments, and uploading laboratory results into the electronic medical record.

The successful candidate will be able to collect outstanding balances, co-pays, and deductibles, reconcile cash drawers, and process referrals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promptly answer and direct all incoming phone calls
  • Check patients in and out accurately and efficiently
  • Verify and update all patient demographics
  • Obtain, confirm, and enter patient insurance information
  • Schedule patients according to clinic protocol and guidelines
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • At least one year of experience in a healthcare-related field preferred
  • Basic computer skills and effective communication skills required
