Scheduling Officer Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Scheduling Officer to join our team and contribute to the management of outpatient services.

About This Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced scheduling professional to take on a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of healthcare services. As a Scheduling Officer, you will be responsible for managing and supporting the Oracle Health ESM scheduling system, building strong relationships with users, and providing high-quality support to patients and staff.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Database Management: You will be responsible for designing and implementing database solutions to meet business requirements, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • User Support: Provide timely and effective support to users, responding to queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, managers, and other teams.
  • Training and Development: Collaborate with training teams to develop and deliver training programs to ensure staff have the necessary skills to use the scheduling system effectively.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and legislation, maintaining accurate records and reporting as required.
Your Qualifications and Experience

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field;
  • Extensive experience in scheduling systems, preferably in a healthcare setting;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience in using Oracle Health ESM scheduling software.
