We are seeking a talented individual to drive the development, implementation and continuous improvement of education quality assurance and overall student satisfaction at Macquarie University.

About the Role

This is a key opportunity for an experienced professional in quality assurance processes within a higher education context to join our team and contribute to shaping the academic excellence strategy at Macquarie University.

The successful candidate will collaborate with academic and professional staff to implement strategies that promote educational excellence for Macquarie University students. They will also be responsible for maintaining high standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement across the university.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant field;
  • Significant experience in quality assurance processes within a higher education context;
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and best practices as they relate to teaching and the student experience;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform decision-making and drive improvements;
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

The salary package for this position includes a salary range from $119,056 per annum (HEW 8), plus 17% employer's superannuation.
