About the Role: We are seeking a visionary veterinary leader to drive excellence in veterinary care across multiple locations in Sydney, New South Wales. As Regional Veterinary Clinical Director, you will be responsible for overseeing and guiding veterinarians and clinic teams within your designated region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake clinical days to work with teams and build rapport.
  • Oversee and guide veterinarians and clinic teams within your designated region.
  • Ensure delivery of exceptional veterinary care and high quality standards.
  • Conduct regular training and development programs to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, client satisfaction, and overall clinic performance.
  • Ensure safety of teams by reviewing compliance safety controls and adherence to Veterinary Surgeons Board Guidelines and Legislation.
  • Collaborate with General Manager, Area Managers, Chief Veterinary Officer, and other Regional Clinical Directors to drive high standards of care and best practices.
  • Support recruitment and onboarding of veterinarians and staff within your region.
  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine and technology.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine and registration to practice in New South Wales.
  • Proven leadership experience in a veterinary setting with successful team management.
  • Advanced skills such as memberships in small animal surgery with the ability to perform orthopaedic surgery.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships.
  • Passion for delivering excellent veterinary care and driving continuous improvement.
  • Innovative mindset and ability to adapt to the evolving veterinary industry.
  • Willingness to travel between clinics and help other regions cover leave or extra workloads.

Compensation and Benefits: We offer an attractive salary package of $150,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, you will have access to state-of-the-art facilities and resources, opportunities for professional development and further education, and a supportive and collaborative team environment.
