Business Analysis Role

The Enterprise Network Modernisation Programme (ENMP) seeks a skilled Business Analyst to deliver updates to operational and corporate networks.

This multi-year programme aims to modernise the network, enabling strategic change. The Business Analyst will play a crucial role in this transformation, working closely with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.

  • Key responsibilities include:
    • Requirements elicitation, business process mapping, and stakeholder engagement workshops
    • Communicating project risks, issues, and dependencies effectively
    • Maintaining relationships with technical and business stakeholders
  • Align business analysis activities with industry best practice and organisational standards
  • Stakeholder engagement and business analysis to understand business needs for project delivery
  • Requirements definition and traceability using organisational standards and tools
  • Monitoring progress of project work packages, deliverables, and products
  • Identifying and reporting on risk and issues impacting service delivery and program performance
  • Developing artefacts to define outcomes for the organisation and resources required
  • Planning with the Master Scheduler and maintaining a project schedule that identifies work effort, roles, and resources required
  • Aligning with EPMO stage gates and organising stage gate reviews when required
Essential Skills and Experience Required
  • Australian citizenship and ability to obtain Baseline Clearance
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in programme and/or project delivery, ideally in relation to service transition/migration
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to communicate with ICT and business senior executives
  • Demonstrable experience with interpersonal, consultative, organisational, and facilitation skills
  • Experience engaging with geologically diverse project teams
  • High attention to detail and capable of delivering high accuracy
Desirable Skills and Experience Required
  • Certification in BABOK or deep understanding of business analysis methodologies
  • Proficient working with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrable experience in analytical thinking and problem-solving
