Job Title: Network Fault Specialist
">About the Role:
">We are seeking a skilled Network Fault Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability of our statewide telecommunications network by monitoring, maintaining and fault coordinating.
">Key Responsibilities:
">* Monitor and maintain the health of the network, identifying and resolving faults as required* Ensure timely and effective fault resolution to minimize downtime and maintain customer satisfaction* Develop and implement procedures for improving network resilience and reducing fault occurrences* Work collaboratively with the operations team to ensure seamless communication and coordination* Provide training and guidance to colleagues on network-related issues* Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in network management*
">Requirements:
">To be successful in this role, you will need:
">* Strong knowledge of telecommunications networks and their application to rail operations* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills* Ability to work independently and as part of a team* Proactive approach to fault investigation and problem-solving* Holding the following pre-employment qualifications: ACMA Open Cabler Registration, Trade Certificate in Telecommunications and Class C Drivers licence*
