Position Overview
We are currently looking for dedicated individuals to fill the role of Residential Services Assistant within our healthcare facilities. This position involves preparing and delivering meals tailored to the specific dietary needs of residents in our care communities.

Role Responsibilities
The successful candidates will be responsible for:

  • Independently preparing meals in accordance with residents' dietary requirements.
  • Delivering meals to residents in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Setting up dining areas to ensure a pleasant dining experience.
  • Maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
  • Performing cleaning and laundry tasks as required.
  • Collaborating effectively with team members to provide exceptional care.
  • Participating in ongoing training and development opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills
Ideal candidates will possess:

  • A current certificate in basic food handling practices or a willingness to obtain one.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with residents and staff.
  • The ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
  • A commitment to person-centered care and respect for all individuals.
  • A current NDIS Worker Screening Check or a willingness to obtain one.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory.

Training and Support
Successful applicants will receive comprehensive training across various care communities to ensure they are well-prepared for their responsibilities.
