Opportunity for a Child Protection Professional

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and families. As a specialist in child wellbeing, you will play a key role in implementing our safeguarding framework.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist with the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure a safe culture for children
  • Manage incidents relating to allegations or suspicions of child abuse, neglect and/or harm
  • Provide specialist support to staff, children and families to ensure child-focused incident management
  • Build staff knowledge and capacity to prevent, identify and mitigate risks

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification from an accredited institution - Diploma or above
  • Familiarity with Child Protection legislation and the field of child protection
  • Familiarity with Child Safe Organisation principles and child protection system in NSW desirable
  • Experience in providing advice and guidance on child protection and safeguarding matters
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Cleared Valid work, working with Children's Check (WWCC)
