Key Role:

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Diesel Mechanic to join our team in the civil earthworks industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct the servicing, maintenance, and repairs on civil earthworks equipment including trucks, dozers, graders compactors, rollers, excavators, and posi-tracks.
  • Work within project rules and regulations at all times.
  • Liaise with direct managers, supervisors, and teams daily.
  • Thoroughly diagnose and repair faults.
  • Work to tight schedules while maintaining the highest standards.
Required Expertise:
  • Current drivers' licence (HR preferred but not essential).
  • Fully qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic.
  • Confident in all aspects of plant repairs.
  • Solid knowledge of diesel engines and emissions.
  • Solid knowledge of drivetrain, brakes, and suspension.
  • Basic auto electrical knowledge.
  • Competent with computers and digital diagnostics.

As a successful candidate, you will possess an outstanding work ethic and commitment to getting the job done. You will be a strong team player who is action-focused and result-oriented, quickly coming up to speed on repairs and priority breakdowns. Strong communication skills with proven ability to communicate effectively with a range of individuals are also essential. Experience in working in a high-performance team is highly desirable. The ability to work flexible hours is also required, along with full working rights within Australia.
