Job Opportunity

The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing heavy machinery equipment. This includes commissioning/training of new machinery, diagnosing machine issues or customer complaints, and finding solutions.

Effective communication with the office coordination team is essential to ensure effective planning and delivery of the service schedule. Conducting machine inspections, assisting in the training of apprentices and other staff as required, are also key responsibilities.

Good knowledge and experience of repairing/servicing heavy plant equipment, preferably large mobile plant on customer sites, is a must. An NVQ 3 in Mechanical Engineering/Plant Maintenance or equivalent is required. Proven experience within a Service Technician/Light Vehicle Mechanic role for minimum 2 years is also necessary.

A valid driver's license with a good driving record and basic computer skills are required. The ability to communicate well with co-workers and customers, work under pressure, and have a clear problem-solving approach are also essential.

Key Responsibilities:
