We are seeking a skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team for a major earthworks project in the Western Downs Area. The ideal candidate will have experience in servicing, maintaining, and repairing civil earthworks equipment including trucks, dozers, graders compactors, rollers, excavators, and posi-tracks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting routine maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting complex mechanical issues.
  • Working within project rules and regulations at all times.
  • Liaising with direct managers, supervisors, and other team members daily.

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic.
  • Current driver's license (HR preferred but not essential).
  • Confident in all aspects of plant repairs.
  • Sound knowledge of diesel engines and emissions.
  • Sound knowledge of drivetrain, brakes, and suspension.
  • Basic auto electrical knowledge.
  • Competent with computers and digital diagnostics.
