The Role:
- Lead a high-performing claims team, driving results through coaching, guidance, and empowerment.
- Monitor and analyze claims statuses against key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring seamless delivery of excellent service.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and brokers, fostering trust and cooperation.
- Develop and execute business strategies, leveraging your expertise in general insurance claims management.
- Oversee the tendering and negotiation of contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
- Conduct performance analysis and reporting, providing actionable insights to drive business growth.
- Manage audits and complaints handling, upholding the highest standards of professionalism.
- Handle complex claims, exercising sound judgment and technical capability.
About You:
- Proven leadership skills, with a high emotional quotient (EQ) and exceptional interpersonal abilities.
- Strong business acumen, enabling you to develop and execute strategic plans.
- Substantial experience in general insurance claims management, with a deep understanding of relevant legislation.
- Familiarity with the general broking market, allowing you to navigate complex client relationships.
- Sound technical capabilities, combined with adaptability and reliability.
- Business qualifications are highly desirable, but not essential.
