Job Title: Maintenance Technician

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled professional to undertake day-to-day maintenance tasks and general building upkeep.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine equipment maintenance to ensure optimal performance and availability.
  • Respond promptly to technical issues, investigating and implementing solutions as quickly as possible.
  • Support continuous improvement by learning from breakdowns and sending feedback and suggestions for improvements through the line manager.
  • Provide high levels of equipment availability to internal customers.
  • Support and learn from senior colleagues.

A Day in the Life:

You will work alongside senior colleagues to undertake day-to-day maintenance tasks and general building upkeep. You will also have the opportunity to respond to machinery issues and implement solutions to improve equipment performance.

About the Team:

Our Reliability Maintenance Engineering team is a technically-minded group of excellent team players guided by experienced leaders. We work together to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment across our global network of Fulfilment Centers, Sortation Centers, and Delivery Stations.

Requirements:

  • Formal Trade Qualification: Served a full Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering qualified to a minimum of Certificate III.
  • Cert III Mechanical Engineering (Fitter/Turner). Alternatively, equivalent trade qualification formally recognised in Australia.
  • Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems.
  • Experience fault finding within Material Handling Equipment/Automation systems.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical/mechanical drawings.
  • Experience of conveyor maintenance, motor controllers/inverters.
  • Experience of working to appropriate health & safety standards and regulations.
  • Experience with CMMS systems.
  • Experience with sortation machines.
  • Experience with maintaining/configuring bar code scanners.
  • Experience with print and apply machines.
