To provide a robust and efficient IT infrastructure for our customers, we are seeking a skilled IT Infrastructure Technician.
The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues on various platforms, ranging from systems through to power/mechanical equipment. They will also participate in data centre power & cooling events, meet 24x7 On-Call requirements, and respond during shift rotations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a high level of system reliability by prioritising and resolving trouble tickets efficiently
- Escalation point and technical troubleshooter for all Systems and problems
- Deep diving into Linux server issues
This role involves covering 24x7 shift rotation, physical component requiring the ability to lift & rack equipment up to 20 kg, and working in cramped spaces or in elevated locations while adhering to health & safety guidelines.
Basic Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience with server hardware
- 1+ years of experience with UNIX/Linux operating systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field or equivalent professional or military experience
