Job Overview

We are seeking a Care Support Specialist to join our care team on a casual basis. This role involves providing personal care, support and assistance to residents under the direction and guidance of the senior clinical team.

About the Role

You will be responsible for attending to residents' daily needs, including meal delivery and refreshments as required. You will also record observations on relevant assessment charts and document any exceptions to the care plan in progress notes, reporting them to the EN/RN.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care to assist residents maintain independence and dignity with respect to activities of daily living and lifestyle.
  • Attend to duties as allocated by the RN/EN, including general ward duties.
  • Check residents daily menu requirements.
Requirements
  • Current National Police Certificate.
  • NDIS check.
  • Relevant Certificate III Qualification.
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
