Job Title: Care Support Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a care support specialist. As a care support specialist, you will play a vital role in providing supportive care to a young independent male with Cerebral Palsy.

Responsibilities:
  • Bathing and showering assistance
  • Toileting and dressing support
  • Meal assistance and preparation
  • Community access and outings
  • Feeding our cats
  • Laundry and household duties
  • Washing dishes and maintaining cleanliness
  • Cooking and food handling responsibilities
Requirements:
  • A reliable motor vehicle and Victorian driver's license
  • Moderate cooking and food-handling skills
  • A current Police Clearance or willingness to undergo one at the time of recruitment
  • An NDIS Worker Check or willingness to undergo one at the time of recruitment
  • Excellent English language skills and Australian residency

This is a part-time role requiring a long-term commitment (minimum 12 months). Hours are flexible, averaging 8-10 hours per week.
