Community Retail and Hospitality Team Member

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team at the Lajamanu general store. As a retail and hospitality team member, you will have opportunities to grow and develop your skills in a fast-paced supermarket and food takeaway environment.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide excellent customer service, working with customers from diverse backgrounds and communities. You will also be required to assist with food preparation, manage stock levels, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate experience as a short order cook or takeaway cook (desirable but not necessary)
  • Provide genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Work effectively in a cross-cultural environment
  • Ability to work in various areas of the store, including front-of-house and back-of-house operations
  • Solid work ethic and ability to take direction and carry out tasks efficiently
  • Ability to work alone or as part of a team to achieve business goals
