Remote Community Services Director

A key role has become available for a skilled and experienced individual to lead our Council services in the Warruwi community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the delivery of essential services including road maintenance, parks and gardens upkeep, sports facilities management, Centrelink support, childcare programs, community care initiatives, and after-school activities
- Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery and stakeholder satisfaction
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance service delivery, productivity, and staff development
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to inform data-driven decision making
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in leadership and management roles, with expertise in asset management, project coordination, people supervision, budget analysis, and operational efficiency
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities, work effectively under pressure, and meet critical deadlines
- Strong understanding of the challenges faced by Indigenous communities in remote settings and cultural awareness
