Event Coordinator Role Overview

The primary function of the Event Coordinator is to support the Events team in executing event plans across Australia and New Zealand.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with all aspects of events, from planning to implementation and post-event follow-up
  • Coordinating vendors, including staffing, venues, production, AV, and catering
  • Managing event logistics and ensuring timely execution
  • Overseeing relevant communications, including WIP documents and meeting agendas
  • Participating in event activations, requiring weekend work and travel
  • Supporting stand builds and collateral production requirements for events
  • Coordinating event artwork and ensuring brand consistency
  • Completing ad-hoc tasks to support the events team

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll be a highly organized individual with strong time management skills, a team player, and a flexible attitude. You'll have a can-do approach, be assertive, engaging, and driven.

  • Event management and planning experience
  • Developing and implementing effective communications
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • A demonstrated ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
  • A driver's license
