Event Planning Specialist

As an Event Planning Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful execution of conferences, social events, and group accommodations. You will work closely with various departments to provide exceptional service to clients and guests.

About the Role
  • Liaise with clients to plan conferences, social events, and group accommodations
  • Collaborate with operational departments to ensure seamless service execution
  • Foster relationships with sales and marketing team members for smooth planning
  • Negotiate with suppliers to maximize revenue
  • Upsell conference, banqueting, and food and beverage services

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years of event planning experience in a large operation
  • Strong communication and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and forge strong connections with stakeholders
  • Solid local market knowledge and sound computer skills
