The Role

In this role, you will provide administrative support and coordinate administrative activities relating to the National Transport division. Apart from often being the first point of contact for all transport-related queries, you will ensure transportation requests are actioned and disseminated on the basis of origin and destination, and that the vehicle is transported to its selling location where the net financial return is an advantage to the seller and Cox Automotive Australia.

Responsibilities
  • Review transport orders to ensure all data is accurate and up-to-date
  • Support internal and external stakeholders with transport queries (pick-up, delivery, etc)
  • Negotiate transport costs, create transport requests and purchase orders, and review invoices
  • Follow up existing transport bookings to ensure the collection and delivery dates are on schedule
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a fast-paced administration role
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong written, verbal, and organisational skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • SAP experience would be beneficial
  • A positive and proactive attitude, and be a team player
  • Experience within Automotive/Transport would be beneficial, as would a passion for the industry, although not essential
