About This Opportunity

This role presents a unique chance to contribute to organisational governance, service delivery and client experience, workforce development, lived experience staff retention and recruitment strategies. The Lived Experience Capability Lead will drive the implementation of Sonder's Lived Experience Workforce Strategy and promote recovery-oriented culture within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive the implementation and advancement of Sonder's Lived Experience Workforce Strategy
  • Advocate for recovery-oriented culture with a focus on actions to ensure this comes to life
  • Ownership of the implementation and compliance with Lived Experience Workforce Guidelines and embed best practices
  • Support and coordinate training and career development pathways for the lived experience workforce
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in developing, leading and supporting lived experience practice at an organisational level
  • Demonstrated experience in lived experience practice
  • Proven experience in leading and implementing projects, strategic work and innovative initiatives
What You Will Need:
  • IDentify as a person with lived or living experience
  • Certificate IV in Peer Work or equivalent qualification with demonstrated experience in a lived experience, Peer Practitioner or Peer Support Worker role
  • Completion of Peer Supervision Training
