Practice Development Lead

The National Pedagogy and Practice team is seeking an experienced and passionate professional to lead the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning practice across our centres in South Australia/Northern Territory. As a Practice Development Lead, you will be responsible for providing leadership and advocacy to ensure the Practice Team is equipped to support the quality practice uplift journey and deliver the National Quality Standards and Early Years Learning Framework v2.0 to an exceeding standard.

  • Analyse practice data for each centre and present recommendations to State Managers on the Quality Improvement Plan Practice actions for the centre.
  • Lead the Practice Partners to ensure the delivery of high-quality and consistent practice across centres through effective coaching and modelling to build sustainable teaching and learning capability in the centre teams.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and coordination of state practice improvement teams supporting centres to lift practice through the use of Quality Rating Scales, nationally and state accredited Early Learning Frameworks such as the Early Years Learning Framework v2.0 (EYLF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS).
  • Spent time in centres to connect with and observe the teaching and learning strategies and environments of centre teams as a means of assuring and validating the centre's self-assessment.

  • Liaise with State Managers to ensure alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
  • Maintain accurate records of centre performance and progress.
