We're seeking an experienced Event Coordinator to join our team

About the Role

This exciting opportunity is for a highly organized and creative individual who can plan and deliver engaging social events that promote resident wellbeing and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with our Wellbeing Manager to develop a calendar of social events and experiences that cater to our residents' needs and interests.
  • Assist the care team in delivering social activities and support the orientation and training of volunteers.
  • Liaise with volunteers to attend and/or host social events, and support our Wellbeing Manager and General Manager with Community Engagement initiatives.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A tertiary qualification in event management or a related field (desirable).
  • Certificate IV in Community Services (Lifestyle and Leisure) and/or relevant qualification (desirable).
  • Previous experience in event delivery and coordination, preferably in an aged care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
