About This Role

As a Workplace Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in helping individuals with intellectual disability achieve and maintain sustainable employment.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to job seekers and employers to ensure successful employment outcomes.
  • Identify and implement strategies that minimize employment risks and enhance inclusion.
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with employers to promote long-term collaboration.
  • Coordinate diversity training and customized employment solutions where needed.
  • Monitor progress, document support activities, and meet key performance milestones.

The Skills and Qualifications We're Looking For:

  • Experience supporting people with intellectual disability in employment, education, or community services.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proven ability to deliver customer-centric, outcome-focused support.
  • Commercial acumen and understanding of workforce planning and diversity initiatives.
  • Qualifications or experience in employment services, training, or community development (highly desirable).
