Job Description

The successful candidate will play a vital role in representing clients and providing advice on complex criminal law matters. They will prepare cases, instruct counsel, and appear in court to advocate for their clients.

Additionally, the candidate will provide duty lawyer services, appearing in the Magistrates and Children's Courts and higher court call-overs and mentions. They will also offer legal information and advice to clients and members of the public.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • You have knowledge and experience in preparation, representation, and advocacy of complex criminal law matters.
  • Knowledge of and compliance with the practice and procedure of criminal law, evidence, and ethics is essential.
  • Effective communication skills are crucial, including the ability to articulate convincing rationale and negotiate persuasively.
