TP Human Capital is seeking an experienced Accounts/Administration Officer to support the daily operations of our clients Townsville based office.

This role requires a personable and professional approach, as well as a commitment to confidentiality and teamwork. The successful candidate will assist with a variety of tasks under the supervision of the Bookkeeper and Personal Assistant/Administration Officer.

The Role:
  • Process daily sales, manage accounts payable/receivable, and handle receipting.
  • Create and manage purchase orders, process journals, and upload supporting documents.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations using Excel, including ATM withdrawals and rebates.
  • Provide data entry, including stock adjustments and reporting.
  • Support and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Handle general office tasks, such as maintaining files, answering inquiries, and keeping the office organised.
  • Assist with publications and provide relief for the Personal Assistant/Administration Officer during absences.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Should have administrative experience and at least 2 years of experience with Xero.
  • Familiarity with Retail/Swiftpos Point of Sale Systems is highly regarded.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft programs and strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to multitask, learn new software, and maintain a proactive problem-solving approach.
