Compassionate Elderly Care Specialist

Join our team as a compassionate elderly care specialist to deliver high-quality clinical care to the elderly in line with industry standards.

Job Description

As an experienced Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing holistic assessments, developing appropriate care plans, evaluating, and determining clinical decisions that guide our care staff. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless delivery of care services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver day-to-day clinical care to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met
  • Manage and direct AINs and PCWs in their daily activities, ensuring the highest standard of care is maintained
  • Support the Residential Manager/Care Manager in achieving facility objectives, focusing on efficient management and resident satisfaction
  • Record accurate medical records for each resident, adhering to documentation guidelines and legal requirements
  • Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and policy procedures
  • Participate in continuous improvement processes and systems
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Current Registered Nurse (Division 1) registration with AHPRA
  • Minimum of 12 months experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling effective interaction with residents, families, and staff at all levels
  • Strong passion for working with the elderly, with a commitment to ongoing professional growth
