We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Continuing Care Assistant to join our professional team.

Job Description
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including hygiene, dressing, meals, and mobilization according to work assignments;
  • Collaborate with the resident and other interdisciplinary team members in developing individualized Resident Care Plans;
  • Plan and implement resident leisure activities on a daily basis;
  • Perform delegated nursing acts according to company policies and scope of practice;
  • Communicate and report relevant information regarding resident care or safety to supervisors.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Valid Continuing Care Certification or Provincial Personal Care Worker course or equivalent;
  • Registration in Nova Scotia's CCA registry as per the Continuing Care Assistants Registry Act;
  • Flexibility to work various hours and shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays;
  • Clear criminal record with vulnerable sector screening;
  • Alzheimer's and Dementia Care course considered an asset;
  • Previous experience working with the elderly in long-term care or senior living environments an asset;
  • Valid CPR & First Aid Certification preferred.
