Job Title: Strategic Programme Leader

This accomplished Federal Government Department is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Programme Leader to join their lively and dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the implementation of programme design including feedback and submissions from open consultations on a discussion paper.
  • Engage closely with internal and external stakeholders, building relationships and influencing them to achieve agreed outcomes.
  • Support negotiations including on programme design and guidelines, preparing high-quality briefs and advice for senior executives.
  • Handle media and other ad hoc enquiries, developing effective responses.
  • Work effectively in a small team, managing junior staff and coordinating programme development and implementation.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in programme design and implementation within the Federal Government sector.
  • Strong analytical skills, including problem-solving and risk identification.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication style, with excellent coordination and organisation skills.
  • Ability to build partnerships with a broad range of stakeholders and influence them to achieve desired outcomes.

To be considered for this role, you must be an Australian citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance at the Baseline level or higher.
