About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to support our members' needs. As a Senior Project Manager, you will leverage your financial services experience to manage and deliver large-scale projects effectively and on time. You will work closely with senior executives, regulators, and various stakeholders to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, nurture, and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders across the RACQ Group.
  • Lead complex projects with a business-led approach, using methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile.
  • Drive evidence-based, pragmatic decision-making through the selection of appropriate reports and metrics.
  • Partner with Change Managers to ensure the RACQ Change Management framework supports member and business readiness.
  • Perform risk assessments and implement mitigation plans to proactively manage project risks.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to the project team, ensuring consistency across the project and department.
About You:
  • Robust experience leading successful projects with strict deadlines in a regulated environment.
  • Ability to apply knowledge to different contexts and business operations, taking a tailored approach to secure a united outcome.
  • Demonstrated ability to collate, analyse, and interpret technical data from various sources.
  • Strong experience in managing detailed budgets, proactive risk management, benefits assessments, schedules, and all areas of project governance.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present routine updates and complex issues effectively.
  • Strong ability to represent and champion on behalf of your sponsor and stakeholders, driving the best possible outcomes.
  • Dedicated team player with a desire to be part of a community of passionate project delivery resources, sharing lessons and knowledge.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing cross-functional project teams.
