About the role:

We're seeking a Document Controller to join our team working out of our Canberra CBD office. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for implementing and managing our document control system and processes for the tender phase.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Implementing and managing the document control system and processes for the tender phase, including data room administration.
  • Registering, distributing, and tracking all tender documentation to ensure timely access for all parties.
  • Maintaining an organised filing system for tender documents, ensuring accessibility for the bid team.
  • Adapting emerging technologies, including AI-assisted search and analytics, to enhance bid team capability and productivity.
  • Updating and maintaining document revisions, identifying any issues with registered documents, recording these issues diligently, and communicating them effectively to the relevant parties for resolution.
  • Coordinating the workflow for reviews and overseeing the collation, issuance, and receipt of documents in accordance with project requirements for the development, review, and approval of design documentation and other related procedures and records.

About You:

  • Proven experience as a Document Controller or similar role, with additional experience in administrative duties, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Proficient with document control and procurement software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Understanding of the tender and procurement processes within the construction industry.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration or Information Management is desirable.
