About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Air Traffic Controller to join our team at Airservices Australia. As an Air Traffic Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient management of Australia's airspace.
About Us:
Airservices Australia is a government-owned organisation responsible for the safe and efficient management of 11% of the world's airspace and provision of aviation rescue firefighting services at Australia's busiest airports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hold a current rating and endorsement in an ATC environment.
- Hold an AELP level 6 English language proficiency, or equivalent.
- Have a minimum of 5 years ATC operational experience.
- Be able to provide certified documentation and referees to support your application.
- Undertake training in Australia.
Requirements:
- Hold, or have held, an Air Traffic Control rating and endorsement.
- Been previously employed as an operational Air Traffic Controller or have been working within a non-operational ATC environment within the last five years.
- Are able to hold or gain a Class 3 Medical.
Medical Standards:
Licensing as an Air Traffic Controller (ATC) requires attainment of a Class 3 Medical Certificate in accordance with medical standards specified by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA).
Police Records Check:
Airservices Australia recruitment policy requires that any individual being considered for appointment to the organisation undergo a "Police Records Check" which identifies any past convictions, or present or pending criminal charges against that individual.
