We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient services, including diagnosis, consultation, assessment, and treatment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech language pathology, with experience in facilitating various modes of service delivery and working effectively as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient services, including diagnosis, consultation, assessment, and treatment
- Participate in departmental/community programs and hospital-wide initiatives
- Comply with Occupational Health and Safety Standards
- Demonstrate expertise in facilitating various modes of service delivery
- Work effectively as a member of an interdisciplinary team
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology or equivalent required
- Relevant internship/placement education experience necessary
- Current registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario required
- Demonstrates current knowledge of clinical practice and procedures in speech language
- Ability to conduct Modified Barium Swallow Studies an asset
- Good oral communication skills and organizational skills essential
