Job Description

We are seeking a results-focused Telecommunications Business Development Manager to drive strategic partnerships across our telecommunications business. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in account management, business development, or a related field, with a strong ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple priorities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the company is front-of-mind for new and existing clients, actively contributing to the creation of winning strategies, and expanding our customer base into new sectors.

This role offers the opportunity to lead impactful projects, work closely with industry experts, and contribute to a strong safety culture while being part of a dynamic and supportive team.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and nurture business development activities within current accounts and target new markets
  • Identify and pursue growth opportunities to drive the company's expansion
  • Ensure the company is considered for all relevant proposals and tenders
  • Collaborate with operational business groups to develop strategic plans for future growth and effective, profitable delivery
  • Seek out potential new customers and explore untapped market sectors

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in account management, business development, or a related field
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying and capitalising on opportunities
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple priorities
  • At least 3 years' experience in Telecommunications or adjacent industries with an established client base
  • Proven customer management skills, account planning, and client presentations
  • Strong record in commercial and client management, plus collaboration with operations teams
  • Experience in market research, opportunity identification, tenders, and transition procedures
