Pharmacy Technician Role

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at St John of God Hospital Geelong. As a key member of our Outpatient Pharmacists and Ward Pharmacists, you will play a vital role in providing quality services.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the delivery of exceptional patient care. You will be responsible for assisting pharmacists with various tasks, including medication management, stock control, and administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists with medication preparation and dispensing
  • Monitor and manage pharmacy stock levels
  • Provide administrative support, including data entry and record-keeping
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate IV in Pharmaceutical Industry or related field
  • Proven experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
