Pharmacy Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced pharmacist to join our dynamic team at University Hospital Geelong. This casual position offers the successful candidate the opportunity to work in a supportive teaching hospital environment, providing clinical pharmacy services to ensure safe, appropriate and efficient drug use within Barwon Health and on return to the community.

About the Position

  • To ensure effective implementation of hospital policy and formulary guidelines/restrictions through liaison with medical, pharmacy and nursing staff.
  • Support team members in delivering a clinical and outpatient pharmacy service.
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy and timeliness in all work completed, adhering to Barwon Health policies and procedures.

  • Implement hospital-wide medication management strategies to optimize patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • A current registration as a pharmacist with AHPRA.
