Job Overview

This role offers a challenging and rewarding work environment with a competitive base salary of $90,000-$95,000. As a Customer Service Executive in our Air & Ocean division, you will oversee customer service operations to ensure exceptional experiences for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate customer information, including rates, contact details, and account status.
  • Liaise with management and sales teams to address accounts approaching or exceeding credit limits.
  • Communicate with customers regarding shipment updates, arrival dates, and delivery schedules.
  • Conduct order follow-ups and maintain detailed reports for customers.
  • Implement and enforce client Standard Operating Procedures as directed by management.
  • Provide quotes to customers and overseas offices at profitable levels.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve rate and shipment-related issues.
  • Develop new business opportunities from existing clients.
  • Liaise with overseas offices to obtain the best possible rates and services.
  • Ensure timely responses to customer inquiries and correspondence.
  • Promote CEVA's services, including import, export, and added-value services.
  • Protect and represent CEVA's interests professionally, adhering to company policies.
Requirements:
  • Experience in freight forwarding, preferably with a focus on customer management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Able to achieve objectives, meet deadlines, and adapt to various roles as needed.
  • Proficient computer skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Post-secondary qualification in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred).
