About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to support our residents with their daily living needs.

As a multiskilled caregiver, you will be responsible for providing person-centred care that promotes dignity, respect, and independence. You will play an important role in enhancing the well-being and quality of life of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care including assistance with hygiene, grooming, dressing, and mobility
  • Support residents' independence and participation in meaningful daily activities, promoting dignity and choice
  • Assist with the safe administration of medication in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation and communicate effectively with nursing, allied health, and management personnel
  • Contribute to infection prevention and workplace health and safety practices
  • Assist with mealtime support to ensure nutritional needs are met
  • Foster a kind, respectful, and supportive environment that upholds our values and the rights of residents
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to work across different sites and shifts, supporting continuity of care
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care
  • Experience working in an aged care setting as a carer
  • Ability to relate to elderly customers with empathy and collaborate effectively with health professionals, service providers, and case managers
  • Ability to interpret individual care plans and provide tailored care to meet individual goals
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Understanding of cognitive strategies, social interaction, and meeting the mental and emotional health needs of residents
  • Ability to meet all compliance requirements, including a National Police Clearance
