Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist

About the Role

Avoiding workplace injuries and illnesses is a key priority. As an occupational rehabilitation specialist, you'll collaborate with employers to minimize the impact of injuries and support employees in their recovery.

Your Responsibilities

  • Managing complex cases involving psychological health and providing coaching and support
  • Conducting vocational assessments both face-to-face and remotely across the country
  • Assisting clients in achieving personal return-to-work goals
  • Offering non-claim related psychological and psychosocial support to corporate and government clients
  • Using advanced psychosocial risk management tools to achieve successful outcomes

The Requirements

  • Hold a degree in Rehabilitation Counselling, Social Work, Provisional Psychology, or Psychology
  • Be eligible for membership with ASORC, AASW, or APHRA
  • Prior experience in Occupational Rehabilitation is highly desirable
  • Pass a national criminal check and working with children check prior to commencement
  • Hold full Australian working rights
  • Own a vehicle and have comprehensive insurance
