Job Summary

We are seeking a Gardener Assistant to join our Turf and Open space team. The successful candidate will assist Horticulturalists, Arborists, and Greenkeepers with various work tasks across site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with conducting work tasks in turf and grassland locations across site
  • Perform brushcutting of turf and grassland areas using specialized equipment
  • Operate machinery for mowing purposes
  • Use hand blowers and backpack blowers for leaf blowing and other tasks
  • Hand water fine turf areas, and perform hand weeding, mulching, pruning, and planting duties as required
  • Utilize small tools and equipment including pruning saws, secateurs, and hand blowers

Requirements:

  • Prior gardening experience essential
  • Familiarity with equipment used in horticulture
  • Understanding of safe work practices
