The role of Greenkeeper Operations Manager is a key position in the maintenance and preparation of daily golf course setup and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities include:

  • ">
  • Maintenance and preparation of daily golf course setup and preventative maintenance">
  • Leading a team in a prompt and professional manner managing timeframes, expectations, presentation and staffing numbers">
  • Staff rostering - coordinate and manage RDOs, leave, summer season leave">
  • Operating a range of turf maintenance equipment">
  • Promote continuous improvement with open communication">
  • Follow instructions and work autonomously as required">
  • Management of on-site team">
  • Adhere to WHS&E policies and proceduresEnter data and document works undertaken">
  • Support management and fellow employees">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

">

- Cert III Turf Management (Diploma in Horticulture - Turf, would be advantageous)

">

- Relevant licenses, including driver's licence

">

- Competency in the use and maintenance of specialised turf machinery and associated equipment

">

- Experience and knowledge in preparing Golf Course playing surfaces turf for sports,

">

- Staff Management

">

- Effective interpersonal and people management/supervisory skills

">

- Experience in golf course renovation programs and practices

">

- Experience in managing work health and safety

">

- Accreditation in first aid

">

- Exceptional eye for detail across all facets of Golf Course Management

">
