Job Title: Turf Maintenance WorkerWe are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to assist our team with various turf maintenance tasks.Job Description:The successful applicant will be responsible for performing a range of duties including but not limited to:
  • Assisting horticulturalists, arborists, and greenkeepers with work tasks in various turf and grassland locations
  • Brushcutting of turf and grassland areas using specialized equipment
  • Mowing using machinery such as Toro Wings and Toro 360
  • Leaf blowing of roads, pathways, and turf areas
  • Hand watering of fine turf areas
  • Hand weeding, mulching, pruning, and planting as required
  • Operating small tools and equipment including hand blowers, brushcutters, backpack blowers, pruning saws, and secateurs
Essential Criteria:
  • A minimum of some gardening experience is essential
  • Prior knowledge of equipment used in horticulture is required
  • A strong understanding of safe work practices is necessary
