
Airline Network Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Operations Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in airline operations and possess excellent communication skills.
The successful applicant will be responsible for coordinating network operations, ensuring schedule integrity, and maintaining a central safety focus. They will work collaboratively with other teams to deliver network operations to schedule and anticipate and proactively respond to foreseeable network disruption.
- Provide timely and accurate information and effectively communicate this across stakeholders
- Monitor aircraft movements, maintaining schedule integrity around on-time performance across domestic and international networks
- Co-ordinate with Maintenance Operations regarding maintenance implications from off-schedule operations
- Effectively co-ordinate operational requirements during disruptions while maintaining regular communication with downline ports
- Ensure the safety and security of all people, assets, systems and procedures engaged in or associated with the airline through compliance with policy & procedures
- Effectively communicate with the Customer Recovery Team regarding customer recovery and customer flow during periods of disruption
The following qualifications and skills are essential:
- Bachelor's Degree qualification in Aviation / Engineering Management (preferred)
- Minimum +2 years' experience, knowledge and understanding of airline operations
- An understanding of relevant aviation legislation
- Demonstrated ability to deliver in demanding, time-sensitive environments
- Resilience with the ability to cope well under pressure
- Be motivate and demonstrate a proactive approach to work
- Excellent communication skills including the ability to influence at all levels
- A high degree of attention to detail
- Intermediate or above proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel and Word
