Transportation Network Coordinator

The role involves coordinating minute-by-minute delivery and performance of our live transport network, including co-ordinating driver and vehicle movements on the road.

We are seeking a skilled professional to join us in providing support and direction to frontline driving staff in regular operations, during incidents, and emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and manage network performance to meet targets.
  • Co-ordinate with Dispatch Controllers for vehicle and driver schedules.
  • Provide support and guidance to drivers during emergencies.
  • Handle operational adjustments for unexpected issues.
  • Record and escalate significant incidents.
  • Communicate with external stakeholders to manage disruptions.
  • Report recurring issues to management.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Experience in network operations or a similar role.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage schedules and handle operational adjustments.
  • Proficiency in recording and escalating incidents.
  • Capability to support drivers during emergencies.
  • Experience in liaising with external stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Minimum heavy rigid driver's licence and relevant authority plus working with children check, or willingness to attain - to support with driving when required.
