Looking for a dynamic procurement leader to drive strategic category management across Australia and New Zealand? As a Procurement Manager at our company, you will be responsible for developing and executing Indirect procurement strategies with a focus on Transport & Warehousing.

You will identify, evaluate, negotiate, appoint, and manage suppliers to create competitive advantage and leverage our scale and global footprint.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver sustainable supply solutions by building strong partnerships with key strategic suppliers.
  • Own the end-to-end strategic sourcing process including supplier selection, commercial negotiation, contract drafting.
  • Manage cost reduction activities and implement best practice tools and methods within a complex and varied supplier environment.
  • Effectively resolve disputes and manage stakeholders across multiple internal and external platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Operations, Finance, Marketing, IT, R&D, and Supply Chain.

Our ideal candidate possesses:

  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of FMCG and 7+ years of experience in procurement roles, particularly in category management.
  • Sound understanding of supply market fundamentals, strategic sourcing processes, and Indirect category-related procurement.
  • Contract writing, risk analysis, liabilities, and indemnities, SLAs, and general commercial terms.
  • Proficiency in SAP and P2P Governance and Controls.
